The easiest way to make a quilted handbag is to start with quilted material, which

can be purchased at almost any craft or fabric store. This article will explain a

simple way to make a basic fold-over handbag. The directions will include how to

from under the flap of the purse. Once it is sewn in, the strap will be 10 inches

long, which will make it a handbag. If you want to be able to hang it over your

shoulder, simply cut the material longer when you make the strap.
